John can sing whatever he darn well pleases, and in doing so, can serenade the woman he loves or justify why cheating doesn't mean he don't love you. Only Mr. Legend has this ability of smoothing over any situation with a melody that feeds off a hazy conviction that soars to soulful heights as to rid any doubt of sincerity.

However, more than often than not, he's painting red confessions of love, its inevitable lust and gratitude for both. He's also painting a rainbow of other confessions that include love of family, hope for world peace and understanding of life.
